These Terms of Use govern your use of the AI वैद्य app, the website arogyacharya.com and related services (the "Service") provided by Arogyacharya. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is — and is not

• The AI vaidyas are artificial intelligence, clearly labelled as AI. They are not doctors and do not diagnose conditions.
• They provide general wellness information based on Ayurvedic principles, and may suggest home remedies from a list reviewed for the Service, together with cautions.
• Medicines and doses are provided only in prescriptions issued by registered Ayurvedic doctors after reviewing your case.
• The Service is not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, fainting, heavy bleeding, thoughts of self-harm or any serious symptom, call 108 / 112 or go to the nearest hospital immediately.

2. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information, including allergies and current medicines.
• Follow any home remedy only after reading its cautions, and stop and see a doctor if symptoms worsen or don't improve.
• Do not stop or change prescribed medicines based on AI guidance.
• Keep your login secure and do not misuse the Service.

3. Doctors on the Service

Doctors who register are verified by us (degree and registration documents) before they can review cases or issue prescriptions. Each prescription shows the issuing doctor's name and registration details. The doctor is responsible for the clinical content of their prescription.

4. Free and paid consultations

• Some AI vaidyas are free, with a daily talk-time limit shown in the app.
• Paid AI vaidyas are charged per second of talk time from your wallet points at the rate shown before you start. The charge for each call is shown in the app and in your wallet history.
• If a call ends because of a technical problem, you are charged only for the time up to the last confirmed moment of the call.

5. Callback appointments

You may book a time for our specialist to call you. We try to call at the booked time; if we cannot, we will contact you or you may book again.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service provides general information and is not a substitute for professional medical care. To the extent permitted by law, Arogyacharya is not liable for decisions made solely on AI-generated guidance.

7. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or the Service. We may suspend accounts that misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
